Earnings Are Up + Starting Two “Hot” Niche Sites

Just a short post as I’m really looking forward to relaxing with a glass of wine ;)

I just put up my earnings page which I’ll update every month. Nothing spectacular yet, but I already know July’s going to be a lot more focused so I’m hoping that’ll make a difference!

In other news, I registered a couple of new domain names the other day and setup WordPress on them today. They are very much “hot” product niches, meaning that a lot of people will be buying the products in the coming months. I’m really hoping I can capitalise on this, but it does take a bit of focus off my other niche sites so I think I’m going to outsource a bit so I don’t let things go too much.

Talking of hot topics, I kind of want to start some Halloween/ Christmas sites but I’m worried I’ll lose focus too much if I do. Hopefully I’ll get some time later this month!

Those are some good earnings. I was thinking about targetting Halloween and Christmas articles myself, so it is interesting to note I am not the only one!

Bristolboy – Thanks! Yeah I think now is the time to get thinking about those niches, I just wasn’t organised enough last year, hopefully I’ll have time this year!

  2. Hi Ruth,
great to see your passive income heading in the right direction!

I was toying with the Halloween possibilities also. It’s hard for those of us UK based to fully take in just how big this market is in the US. It’s truly staggering.

However, I think I’ll continue to concentrate on my existing projects this year, and keep seasonal sites on the back-burner for later.

Des – I know, it is a massive niche there! I think it’s a good idea not to lose focus on your current projects. Although it seems tempting, I feel you have to be careful otherwise you could end up with a lot of unfinished sites.

It definitely helps to keep a running total of your monthly earnings. I may actually add a page to my blog like you have with each months’ figure on one post.

Good luck with this months work.
