Getting paid working from home is absolutely amazing! I am writing this post as a way to remind myself. And I do need reminding – because working from home is also extremely difficult, especially when you’re forging a web career.

So here are the reasons why I love working from home:

• I get to go for walks in the middle of the day.
• I can cook interesting meals for my dinner, without being rushed to do it when I get home from walk.
• I can work some evenings, and take time off some days.
• I have time to meet interesting people online, instead of being forced to get on with people in a work environment (the niche blogger forum is great for this).
• The people I meet are from all around the world.
• I don’t need to drive to work and save tonnes of time and money!
• I am always learning, reading and finding new ways of earning.

Don’t get me wrong, not all of this stuff is why I get paid working from home, some of it even causes me to earn a little less! But half of it will pay off in the long-run – either through passive income or just through the valuable lessons I’m learning every day.
