This is great. I’ve done the ‘spin’ and generally sucks. I also appreciate your bad points as well as the good. Nice post!

Thanks – I tried to review them as honestly as possible
I will definitely continue to use them though.I should also add they gave me $20 worth of articles free when my articles were last delayed!
Thanks for the review. I have reverted to doing my own writing again in a bid to cut down my outgoings and keep my quality up. However this service looks interesting.
Hope you are well.

I am in a similar position to you. However, I still have around $40 of credit at Human Rewriter which will be nice to use when the time comes
I’m thinking of using it for writing some Infobarrels, which will be a future project.
Another Bad Point would be that their word spins aren’t that great, sometimes they’ll choose a word that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense with the rest of the sentence. They don’t do a lot of phrase spins which is sometimes easier to do than trying to figure out a single word replacement in most cases. I think their rewrites are great but their word spins could use some improvement. I expect a human to know when it’s appropriate to choose a single word to spin or if it’ll be better to spin a phrase instead. Other than that it’s a good service. My rating is a 4 out of 5 stars.

Thank you for leaving your comment and addition to the review. I have also found at times they use an odd word. It’s like they just use a random word from a thesaurus. I agree that rewriting the whole phrase is often best. I usually make a few small changes before accepting the article.
Hi, just found your review while looking for info on Human Rewriter.
Just wondering what the turn around is like these days? Also does anyone know of any alternative services?
Nice site by the way, will spend some time browsing your info

Working Vagabond – Thanks for visiting. Your comment on this post has reminded me I should probably take it down. To be honest I no longer use Human Rewriter, not because of the quality of the service but because they stopped paying affiliates who were owed money. I just think that says something about their business ethics!
Hi Ruth, first please do not take this blog post down, it has valuable information, including the fact that it ranks well for Human Rewriter and lets people know they chose not to pay their affiliates. This kind of information can be the most valuable to have. I am a premium member of human rewriter, so I pay $67 a month plus I bought the $2000 package. I have around 120 articles just sitting there that have not been touched in weeks and no one is responding to my emails from support.
I don’t know if its bad, but I do know it is not good.
I have the same question as working vagabond, does anyone know of an alternative to human rewriter? I am talking about a service that will do sentence level spins. There are plenty of places that will do sentence rewrites and articles rewrites, but human rewriter is the only one I have found so far that will go in and spin the syntax inside the sentence. And frankly my confidence is shaken in them.

John,
I am a writer for Human Rewriter, and I haven’t been able to get into the writer’s queue for a couple months. I have spoken to other writers who are having the same problem. All the other pages are still working, including the provider page for clients like you to sign up. I, too, have e-mailed HR to find out what is going on and have had no response.
To answer your question about other sites, perhaps textbroker.com can help you. I also write for them, and I have seen some content spinning jobs come through the queue.
Good luck!
LMetlak
Thank you for the reply Lmetlak,
It is very disappointing, I boought $2000 worth of articles and got about $600.00 out of it. Does text broker do spinning too? I didn’t know that was a service they provided. I would have never gotten involved with human rewriter if that were the case.
Well I hate to be out $1400, but not knowing what is going on is worse still.
I should have learned my lesson about buying “credits” at places long ago. I have all these articles that need to be spun, is that something you would be interested in for the right price?
Thanks!
John

John,
First, let me say “ouch”. I’m sorry you have lost so much money.
Next, let me tell you how to get it back from Human Rewriter:
Human Rewriter is registered under the name People Powered Content LLC. They are a registered corporation in the State of Florida. According to the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations website, the contact information for the company is:
[address removed]
Write a letter stating that it has been X amount of days/weeks since you have received any response from them. You have X amount of rewrites waiting to be completed, and their contract guarantees the turnaround to be X days/weeks. Request a refund of the $1,400. Let them know that if they do not comply within 30 days of receipt of the letter you will begin legal proceedings. (Of course, you may have to follow through with legal action.)
It is important to send the letter to them both via First Class mail AND via Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested. That return receipt will be your proof that the agent (Angel Hill) received the letter. It is worth the couple extra dollars to send it this way.
Make sure you copy Pam Bondi, Attorney General of Florida, The Capitol PL-01, Tallahassee, FL 32399-1050, AND Kurt S. Browning, Florida Secretary of State, 500 South Bronough Street, R.A. Gray Building, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0250. (Regular mail is fine for this.)
If Angel is not the person at the top of the HR heirarchy, I can guarantee that the threat of legal action will have her running to the person who is. That’s the responsibility you accept when you agree to be the registered agent for service of legal documents.
LOL – now that you know I work in the legal field by day . . .
If I understood word spinning, I’d be happy to help you out. I only did rewriting when I worked for HR. Goodness knows I’m always looking for extra cash!
I hope all this helps you — and others in your situation!
Lisa
I actually haven’t work for HumanRewriter.com in quite a long time, although I did register as an agent in Florida yes. The actual People Powered Content LLC that HumanRewriter.com blongs to is based in Pennsylvania, as stated in the terms of service page on the site, and belongs to Donald Eddy.
Unfortunately I have no access to anyone’s money, and trying to send lawyers after me won’t do much good. I am resigning as the registered agent for Human Rewriter (which I should have done months ago) and I would appreciate it if my home address could be removed from this site.
I also wanted to note that Don disappeared months ago. I have no idea how to or where to contact him at anymore, so even if I was still the registered agent I would not be able to deliver any sort of notice to him.
Honestly, I just hope he’s alive.
I second not taking this post down. I have seen an increase in traffic to my site and an increase in rewriters asking for work and was curious.
Maybe I should start offering word level spins, instead of just sentence level.
After trying to collect $6,500 from HumanRewriter, Angel told me the website is down for good, and that he didn’t know anything about Donald Eddy’s whereabouts.
Once I followed up with legal threats, he gave me Donald’s family address:
38 Callahan Dr., Crawfordville, FL 32327
I’m working with Paypal to see if they can help, and hope they can resolve it.
I’ve tried posting this in the Warrior Forum twice, and had the thread pulled.
Hope this helps…
Hi all,
I too was not paid as an affiliate of Human Rewriter.
I now use Joe Higham’s Fast Article Rewrites and not only do they do good work, they pay their affiliates. Thanks Joe!
You can read more here and learn how to get a free trial of the service.
Thank’s for posting this. I don’t feel quite so bad about it anymore as it seems others lost a lot more then I did.
