Only about a week late! I thought it was about time I wrote a quick post. Things have been very busy since I got back home. Between jet lag, getting official notice to move out of the flat within two months and then coming up north to visit family (while still working), I haven’t had too much time to put together a post.

I can’t believe I slacked off so much on the updates here, but it’s been a while since I wrote so I thought I’d put up a short post while I’m at the airport.
My productivity challenge to write 6,000 words a day helped me get a lot more done than I would have otherwise, but it kind of unravelled in the last few days. Instead of writing 6,000 words a day for 11 days, making a total of 66,000 words, I managed to reach around 50,000 so quite far off my goal but still a lot of work to get done.

I’m Going Away In Two Weeks – My Productivity Challenge Until Then
Being the “workaholic” that I am, I’m still not that excited about my holiday – more feeling guilty that I just took some time off for Christmas and I’m going away! But really it’s a very good thing. If you didn’t read before, I’m going to Barbados on January 20 where I’ve been many times before as my uncle lives there. I’m staying with him and it’s going to be a cheap, relaxing holiday overall

2011 Goals: A Year To Focus And Simplify
Over the last few days I’ve been quietly thinking about what I want to do and what I need to do to make sure 2011 is the year I stop worrying about every penny I spend, and to start fulfilling my goal to travel.
