Today I finally got the email from Ezine Articles saying I’d been upgraded to Platinum status. Given the fact that I’m planning to use Ezine Articles a lot this month to build backlinks to my Hubs and websites, this is fantastic news! Which is why I just had to post about it here. You might think the image and post is a little over the top, but it has made me happy 
I must admit I really love Ezine Articles. Nothing beats it in terms of traffic from articles. I tend to use Ezine Articles together with Unique Article Wizard for a combination of instant traffic and backlinks built up over time. This month, I’ll be writing about 50 articles to promote my Hubs there.
My articles never get declined at Ezine Articles, which is why I’d really be hoping to get the upgrade. However, just because my articles don’t break the rules doesn’t mean they’re the best they can be. I tend to rush them, not think over what makes people click. I recently spent a little more time on the titles and I’m already seeing the difference.
So, for now, this post is marking my success at reaching Platinum Status. Look out for another one to come soon about my progress in improving article views/ click through rates.

Congrats! I know the feeling. I recently got my Platinum Status and LOVE it. The turn around is much faster now. I submitted an article last night and had it approved by noon!

Hey,
You will be really happy with the approval rates although some recent articles of mine did take about 3 days… It seemed like everyone I knew was having a slow time with them at that point.
I have not been using them a whole lot recently but I am looking forward to getting back there regularly as I have one big site that I am working on recently and am trying to compete for some competitive terms.

Yeah I am really going to be using them loads this month. I’m currently writing my 9th article for them today (I don’t write this many everyday hehe). Hopefully they won’t take too long to get approved. They do seem to have been extra slow lately.

I am a few articles away from even going for platinum status. With my eHow Challenge over, I am focusing on HubPages and will be using Ezine a lot more!

I believe Ezine is going to be good for building backlinks but I will let you know the results.
