Thank goodness England picked things up today (and congrats to USA) – now after all my uncharacteristic football-watching, it’s time to get back to work.
I did a lot today, despite taking a few hours out for the football! I got started spinning some of those PLR articles I rewrote yesterday. I spun it so it was very unique, but because of that it took me a long time. Because of this I realised it’s going to take me longer than planned to spin them all, but that’s ok. I’ll just submit them when I’m ready. Today I did two and submitted both to Ezine Articles and Unique Article Wizard.
I also wrote 16 blog posts and scheduled them all up to go twice weekly in their respective blogs, and submitted/ scheduled all the articles and blog posts from last week.
Phew! That’s a lot of work today. I haven’t focused like that in a while (and I’m feeling pretty tired now!) I guess I was really desperate to get a lot of work out of the way before I watched the game

I support England as best I can during these last few sad matches – thankfully, we have finally managed a decent result. Here’s hoping that we are doing an Italy and saving the stunning footie for the later rounds.
Also have a soft spot for the USA – nice to see them go through. I had Slovenia pegged for the 2nd round.
One of the things about this business, is that it allows us freedom to spend a “few extra hours” watching footie when we like! Good to see you jump back into the work though.
I don’t know how you can stick with spinning and UAW. I personally find the whole process to be somewhat distasteful and I’ve found if I wrote proper, well-researched actual articles, I can drive traffic with good click-throughs (assuming the goal is traffic rather than back-links).

Jack – Yeah it’s great to have that freedom (and I’m glad it wasn’t a waste and England actually played better!)
As for the spinning, I definitely see where you’re coming from. But to be clear, I do write proper articles and spin them completely manually. So when I say spun I really mean that I rewrite it myself so it keeps the same general meaning but in different words. So it’s not meaningless junk, though of course it still does get submitted in bulk. I would prefer to do less and get more traffic but that only seems to work in a few niches whereas others I need to rely on the bulk approach to build the backlinks.
Good stuff Ruth…. I drank too much and now am suffering this morning, have a lot to do!!!

Good thing I am only doing the internet thing part-time since I watched the entire USA match yesterday on a vacation day from my full-time gig. It was a nail-biter to be sure but I liked their aggressive play. Glad you still got some work done.

Kidgas – That’s great, it’s really nice when everyone gets together to watch the game. I’m not a football fan but even I enjoy the world cup
If it takes hat long to spin and rewrite, have you thought about whether or not it might be better to, not…just write from scratch?

Dennis – I do write lots of articles from scratch, but the reason I’m rewriting some of them is just because I’m submitting to so many different directories. It would take me ages if I wrote a completely new article each time!
Sorry, the way I read it, it seems like you’re taking lots of possibly needless time spinning, THEN trying to rewrite.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with rewriting! It certainly saves time. I find that if I don’t rewrite (my own) articles then I waste a lot of my day.
