Juggling working for your own sites and doing writing and websites for clients isn’t easy. Which is today I feel like I’ve been working like a madwoman!
I did my ten articles – I decided to actually start with my own work today just to make sure I did it. Because I never want to let my clients down, I always meet my deadlines, but sometimes I don’t meet them when it comes to my own work
On the bad side I’ve gotten a bit of a bad back, I must’ve been sitting badly. I’m supposed to be going for daily walks but decided not to today to save time. I’m definitely going tomorrow though.
I got distracted by my iPhone again today just a little, downloading new apps. All the earning-checking apps look good but I think it’s important not to get too distracted checking stats all day (I say that, but of course I do check them pretty often…)
The iPhone app I downloaded to track my progress (Habit Factor – I got the free version) lets me check off my completed “habit” every single day, and shows a graph of how successful I’ve been. Similar to posting here and on forums, it’s just another way to keep myself accountable and show myself what I’ve achieved.

I feel like I have worked like a madman this month – and all I have done is write a few articles and done a bit of backlinking (although I do have a full time job which takes up most of my time!).
I keep getting distracted by apps although I am on the Android platform. Michael-John Wolfe at Residuals and Royalties has decided to pursue the use of apps (for both Android and the iPhone) as a source of residual income although haven’t heard of any of make money online types doing it.

Bristolboy – I’m glad I’m not the only mad person around here
Let’s hope it all pays off! As for apps, I have heard they can be very lucrative! I would have no idea how to do something like that though, unfortunately.
I’m working like a fool right now too. Trying to get my blog off the ground and ghostwriting for clients. It’s awesome though!

Hi Ruth,
sorry to hear about the bad back, I’ve had similar recently from swivelling from PC to laptop and it is no joke.
I got plenty of walking exercise on our recent holiday which has helped immensely, so do get out there!
All the best,
Des.

Des – You are so right. In March, I decided to walk for 30 minutes every day. All pains etc I’d been experiencing completely disappeared. It was so lovely to get out every day too, especially since the weather was nice then (shame it’s so cold now!!) I’m glad to hear your own walking helped.
Go go go
, Keep it up Ruth.

Forest – Thanks
I was suppose to be walking each day but have been bad. Gotta get up and move around when you are working on the computer all day.

Way to go gal! Just make sure take a break, stretch yourself every 45min or so to nurse your back.
I am rather interested to find out more how you do site flipping. I had about 30 odd micro niche sites. I had just disable Adsense on them because I don’t have time to maintain and promote them. Some of them are ranking rather well, page 1-2 but I want to concentrate ranking and stablize my top 30 sites first. So instead of letting them go wasted, I feel like flipping them to cover my some of my investment.

Tinman – Since I’ve had quite a few questions about flipping I decided to write a whole post about it tomorrow hopefully. But my short answer is definitely try flipping! Start slow to get a feel for it, but I’m sure it will be worth it especially if you don’t want to handle the sites anymore anyway.
